{"id":18157,"date":"2023-03-22T15:11:35","date_gmt":"2023-03-22T15:11:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/balearicmarinecluster.com\/presetacion-oficial-de-fanmed\/"},"modified":"2023-09-07T10:40:14","modified_gmt":"2023-09-07T10:40:14","slug":"official-presentation-of-fanmed","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/balearicmarinecluster.com\/en\/official-presentation-of-fanmed\/","title":{"rendered":"Official presentation of FANMED,  Federation of Nautical Associations and Activities for Environmental Issues"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On March 17th, the official presentation of the<a href=\"https:\/\/fanmed.es\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"> Federation of Nautical Associations and Activities for Environmental Issues<\/a> (FanMed) was held at the Chamber of Commerce of Mallorca.<\/p>\n<p>The event, which had a large audience, was warmly received by attendees who showed their support and interest during the question and answer session<\/p>\n<p><strong>The event began at 7 pm with a welcome and presentation by Mrs. Isabel Teruel Preston, Vice President of FanMed<\/strong>, who explained the federation&#8217;s objective, mission, and the main challenges facing the nautical sector in the Balearic Islands.<\/p>\n<p>Next, <strong>Mrs. Salud Deudero<\/strong>, a marine biologist specialized in plastics and winner of the 2023 Ramon Llull Prize, <strong>gave a talk about plastics and their impact on marine ecosystems.<\/strong> Deudero emphasized the importance of taking measures to reduce the presence of plastics in the sea and protect marine biodiversity.<\/p>\n<p>The last intervention was given by FanMed&#8217;s President, Gabriel Dol\u00e7, who thanked all the attendees for their participation and highlighted the importance of continuing to work together to protect the marine environment and ensure a sustainable future for the nautical sector.<\/p>\n<p>The<strong> event concluded with a question and answer session<\/strong> where attendees had the opportunity to express their concerns and doubts about the environmental issues facing the nautical sector.<\/p>\n<p>FanMed brings together the main actors in the sector, represented by eleven associations, including<strong> Balearic Marine Cluster<\/strong> representing innovation and nautical tourism, <strong>ACNB<\/strong>, <strong>ANADE<\/strong>, and <strong>PDBA<\/strong> representing non-public nautical clubs and facilities in the community, <strong>APEAM<\/strong> and <strong>AENIB<\/strong> representing companies in the sector, <strong>AEGY<\/strong> representing large yachts, <strong>ADN<\/strong> and ANAVRE representing sailors, and <strong>AMPRR<\/strong> and <strong>APIB<\/strong> representing fishermen.<\/p>\n<p>This federation aims to showcase the nautical sector&#8217;s commitment to sustainability and present a united front of companies to the administration, promoting projects that drive the blue economy in the Balearic Islands.<\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Follow us on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/company\/balearicmarinecluster\/?viewAsMember=true\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>social networks<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0to not miss any of the latest news about the cluster and the sector.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On March 17th, the official presentation of the Federation of Nautical Associations and Activities for Environmental Issues (FanMed) was held at the Chamber of Commerce of Mallorca.
