female presence in the maritime sector"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>According to a study published on the occasion of International Women&#8217;s Day in the Maritime Sector on May 18th by the IMO (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.imo.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">International Maritime Organization<\/a>) and WISTA (<a href=\"https:\/\/wistainternational.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Women&#8217;s International Shipping &amp; Trading Association<\/a>), <strong>women only represent 2% of the total workforce in the maritime industry.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This study, which collected data from<strong> more than 500 companies<\/strong> worldwide, shows through graphics and data the reality of women&#8217;s presence in the maritime sector, which, although a minority, has more and more women participating in the industry every year.<\/p>\n<p><strong>You can consult the complete study <a
