The Dutch show brought together more than 2,000 exhibitors, including 17 companies associated with Balearic Marine Cluster.<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Last week was held in the Dutch city of Amsterdam, the largest international exhibition of marine equipment in the world, METSTRADE<\/a>, in which Balearic Marine Cl\u00faster<\/a> participated along with more than fifteen Balearic nautical companies.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Following its objective of promoting the Balearic Islands as a technical destination, repair and maintenance of boats, the Balearic Marine Cluster nautical association attended the Dutch fair with its own stand, in which 17 of its member companies were represented<\/strong>, twice as many as the previous year.<\/p>\n

All of the companies attending the fair focus their main activity on REFIT aoperations: Astilleros de Mallorca, <\/a>Aufait, <\/a>Baleos, <\/a>Bas & Josa, <\/a>BWA, <\/a>Dahlberg, <\/a>Evolution, <\/a>Grupo IPM, <\/a>Infe, <\/a>Lantimar, <\/a>Modesty, <\/a>Nautiel, <\/a>Nautipaints, <\/a>Ocibar, <\/a>P&G, <\/a>Pinmar<\/a>\u00a0y Undercover.<\/a><\/p>\n

METSTRADE<\/a> brought together more than 1,400 exhibitors and registered more than 26,480 visitors<\/strong>, who enjoyed the huge show, which focused on three specialist sectors, Superyachts, Marinas and Boatyards, and Construction Materials<\/strong>, each located in a pavilion, offering a smaller, self-contained show within the wider context of the show.<\/p>\n

The Balearic Marine Cl\u00faster<\/a> stand, located in the SuperYacht Pavilion, has focused on highlighting the refit services<\/strong> offered by our islands for large yachts, and has been a meeting point for companies, allowing the creation of synergies between companies and strengthening the image of the islands as a leading technical refit destination.<\/p>\n

The predominant theme of the event was sustainability and how to tackle the current problems facing the nautical industry, promoting a much more collaborative, innovative and solid industry. All these themes were brought together at the Superyacht Forum, organised by The Superyacht Group<\/strong> and held under the name Evolve or Repeat.<\/p>\n
