Balearic Yacht Destination, the international destination promotion brand of the Balearic Marine Cluster, participated alongside 19 of its associated companies in METSTRADE.<\/span><\/h2>\n

Balearic Yacht Destination had its own stand at the 35th edition of METSTRADE, the world’s largest exhibition of equipment, materials, and systems in the recreational nautical industry.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Record Attendance at METSTRADE<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

The METSTRADE show, held from November 15 to 17, served as a meeting point for professionals, companies, and nautical enthusiasts. It hosted an impressive 1,540 exhibitors<\/strong>, including 240 first-time participants from 53 countries, among them the Balearic Marine Cluster Association.<\/span><\/p>\n

The fair recorded an astonishing 28,900 visitors, of which 18,630 were unique, representing 130 different nationalities. Over three days, attendees explored the 11 pavilions filled with the latest sector innovations.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

BALEARIC YACHT DESTINATION \u2013 The Best Refit Hub in the Med<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

The Balearic nautical industry didn’t miss this significant event. Nineteen companies from the Balearic Marine Cluster, under the brand Balearic Yacht Destination, attended METSTRADE with their stand, numbered 10,218 in the Superyacht Pavilion. Participants included Alcudiamar, Astilleros de Mallorca, Baleos, Bas&Josa, BWA, BYD Group, Dahlberg, E-Touch, Evolution, INFE, IPM Group, Juli\u00e0 Pinturas, Modesty Group, Nautiel, Nautipaints, Ocibar, P&G Yachting, Trueworld and MV Nautical.<\/span><\/p>\n

This participation aligns with the cluster’s objective to promote the Balearic Islands as a premier nautical technical destination.<\/span><\/p>\n

The goal was evident in the association’s stand, with the main slogan being “The Best Refit Hub in the Med.” It was supported by striking images of local shipyards and workshops, accompanied by impressive figures from the Balearic naval repair and maintenance sector, such as “10 shipyards handling up to 17,000 TN,” “250,000 m2 REFIT AREA,” “More than 1,000 Yachting companies,” and “Over 600 berths for vessels over 24M LOA.”<\/span><\/p>\n

To reinforce this message, QR codes on the stand directed visitors to a<\/span> downloadable dossier<\/span><\/a><\/span> detailing all the services and facilities offered by the Balearic Islands for refit operations.<\/span><\/p>\n

This space not only served as an informational hub for the capabilities of the Balearic industry but also provided a meeting and resting place for associated companies, allowing them to interact and hold meetings amid the bustling fair.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The Superyacht Forum<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

Parallel to METSTRADE, the 31st edition of The Superyacht Forum took place, an essential event for industry professionals and influential figures, with over 800 attendees.<\/span><\/p>\n

The forum concluded with the announcement of upcoming events organized by The Superyacht Group, including a forum next year in Palma de Mallorca<\/strong>, in collaboration with the Balearic Marine Cluster.<\/span><\/p>\n

New Dates<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n
