Balearic Marine Cluster moves to the drafting phase of this extension on the standard Electronic Invoice format of the Ministry of Finance, intending to address the specific information needs of the nautical sector.<\/span><\/p>\n

Balearic Marine Cluster (BMC) takes a step further in creating a format extension called “Nautical Sector” for Electronic Invoicing and begins its drafting phase.<\/span><\/p>\n

After completing the phase of conducting informational sessions to familiarize the sector with the new scenario of the mandatory implementation of electronic invoicing for 2024\/2025 and meeting with the leading companies of the project to understand the sector’s needs, BMC will start drafting the project.<\/span><\/p>\n

Pedro Suasi, manager of Balearic Marine Cluster, informed the Innovation and Sustainability Committee about this progress and stated that \u201cthe ultimate goal of this project is to facilitate the exchange of invoices between clients and suppliers. We want to define these data and the needs of the nautical sector in this extension so that they are included in the electronic invoice.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cOnce we have this phase closed,\u201d he continued, \u201cwe will proceed to draft a user guide for the nautical sector extension format so that companies know what options they have for incorporating electronic invoicing into their administrative procedures and so that they can participate at their own pace with the necessary documentation to be independent in their progress.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

The Project<\/span><\/h3>\n

At BMC, we are working on a “NAUTICAL SECTOR” format extension, adapted to the environment and commercial relationships unique to the sector, including all key and indispensable fields in the economic transactions carried out daily in nautical companies.<\/span><\/p>\n

This project aims to comply with the law and recent regulations, enabling companies to invoice each other electronically. Additionally, it seeks to achieve adaptation to the nautical sector and integration with Facturae.<\/span><\/p>\n

Currently, we have identified the data to be included in this extension, which will comply with the recommendations for creating extensions from the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Digital Transformation; and thus, it will be recognized and integrated into Facturae (the digital format in which electronic invoices are issued and received).<\/span><\/p>\n

Moreover, it will meet the criteria required for publication in the repository of relevant Facturae extensions<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Within the Framework of the “Crea y Crece” Law<\/span><\/h3>\n

The Electronic Invoicing project promoted by Balearic Marine Cluster aims to foster innovation in the nautical sector. This initiative falls within the “Crea y Crece” law, which mandates all businesspeople and professionals to issue, send, and receive electronic invoices in their commercial relationships with other businesspeople and professionals, starting in 2024.<\/span><\/p>\n

This law is one of the main reforms outlined in the Recovery and Resilience Plan, focused on promoting the dynamism of the productive fabric, placing SMEs at the center of economic policy.<\/span><\/p>\n

To increase productivity, job quality, and internationalization, the law proposes measures and changes in existing regulations, which will allow:<\/span><\/p>\n
