Toni Salom and Pedro Suasi have insisted on the need to take into account the measures proposed to achieve the correct development of the nautical industry in Palma<\/em><\/p>\n

Balearic Marine Cluster (BMC) has attended as an interesting entity the participatory process that the Port Authority of the Balearic Islands (APB) has started with different interest groups in relation to the future Plan for the reorganisation of the Port of Palma. In this sense, Toni Salom, president of BMC, and Pedro Suasi, manager of the Cluster, have expressed their agreement with the Plan proposed by APB as long as a series of technical needs that BMC has presented are considered.<\/p>\n

After the meeting, Toni Salom indicated that \u201cthe APB has presented its proposal to us, and from Balearic Marine Cluster we believe that it must incorporate a series of technical needs that we consider essential for the correct functioning and development of the nautical industry in the Balearic Islands\u201d. Salom has also asked APB to ensure that the plan has the necessary political consensus \u201cto ensure that the plan is implemented regardless of who governs\u201d.<\/p>\n

For his part, Suasi has indicated that \u201cwe will continue to hold talks with APB to see how our proposals can be implemented in the future Plan. We hope to soon sit down with them and close this series of technical requirements that the sector demands and that the Balearic Marine Cluster has been collecting during this time\u201d.
\nDuring the participatory process, the different projects underway were also explained, such as the renovation of the Paseo Mar\u00edtimo, the relocation of cargo and passenger ships, the integration of the port and the city, as well as the future of the naval repair area.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
