It continues to reinforce its role as a driving force in the Mediterranean and positions the Balearic Islands as a hub for excellence in innovation, sustainability, and business development in the nautical field.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"874\" data-end=\"1255\">Since its inception, Balearic Marine Cluster has worked to strengthen the competitiveness of nautical companies on the islands by promoting cooperation between businesses, internationalization, and the development of new technological solutions. With the addition of its 100th member, the cluster consolidates its status as one of the most significant associations in the sector.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1257\" data-end=\"1659\">This milestone comes at a key moment for the organization, which recently appointed Guillermo Garc\u00eda as its new president, succeeding his predecessor, Toni Salom. Under Salom\u2019s leadership, the cluster experienced its most significant growth over six years. Now, under Garc\u00eda\u2019s leadership, the cluster aims to continue promoting strategic initiatives to strengthen the sector and attract more members.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1661\" data-end=\"2126\">\u201cThe cluster aspires to become an entity that directly enhances the competitiveness of companies, fostering trust in the organization and positioning itself as part of the solution to their challenges. Beyond its representative role, the cluster seeks to provide support in key areas such as talent acquisition, international promotion, and securing investments or funding for development projects,\u201d stated Pedro Suasi, General Manager of Balearic Marine Cluster.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2128\" data-end=\"2442\">As part of this growth, the cluster successfully organized its first trade mission to Dubai this year\u2014a significant step toward the internationalization of Balearic nautical companies. This mission allowed members to explore new business opportunities in a key market and strengthen the sector\u2019s global presence.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2444\" data-end=\"2668\">The cluster\u2019s growth not only translates into greater industry representation but also into the promotion of new initiatives, such as specialized training, digitalization, and the development of sustainable infrastructure.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2670\" data-end=\"3033\">An example of this is the organization of the second edition of <em data-start=\"2734\" data-end=\"2765\">The Balearic Superyacht Forum<\/em>, which will take place on April 29 and 30. With this forum, the Balearic Islands will once again be the focal point for discussions on the nautical industry in the Mediterranean, serving as a prelude to the <em data-start=\"2973\" data-end=\"3004\">Palma International Boat Show<\/em>, which begins on April 30.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3035\" data-end=\"3371\">Additionally, the cluster continues to promote public-private collaboration to ensure the future of the sector in the Balearic Islands. It has a full calendar of activities and events aimed at driving innovation and business development to further establish the Balearic Islands as an international benchmark in the nautical
