BALEARIC MARINE HUB – ALL THE NAUTICAL INFORMATION IN ONE PLACE
PROJECT INFORMATION:
Balearic Marine Hub is a platform developed following the success of the second edition of the Balearic Yacht Show in 2021, the largest virtual fair in the Mediterranean.
The project is a joint initiative between the Balearic Marine Cluster and the Chamber of Commerce of Mallorca, and is aimed at captains, professionals and yachting enthusiasts from all over the world who are looking for information about the Balearic Islands.
The platform aims to connect the islands with the rest of the world, promoting and positioning them as a nautical destination of international reference.
The platform has several sections that together offer a 365 degree view of the sector:
- Digital Nautical Guide
- Directory of companies
- Employment and training portal
- Conferences and news
OBJECTIVES:
- To promote the digitalisation of the nautical sector.
- To gather and concentrate all the relevant and interesting information of the nautical sector in the same place.
- To promote the protection of posidonia oceanica in collaboration with IBANAT (Balearic Institute of Nature).
- To facilitate access to a directory of nautical companies and related services by means of an intelligent search engine.
- To be a reference point for training and employment in the nautical sector in the Balearic Islands.
- To transmit news and conferences.
- Promote the Balearic Islands as a nautical destination of reference.
