The Balearic nautical ecosystem showcases its strength at the Mediterranean’s leading exhibition, with the Mediterranean Superyacht Forum as a strategic prelude to the event

The nautical sector of the Balearic Islands once again positions itself as one of the main hubs of activity in the Mediterranean on the occasion of a new edition of the Palma International Boat Show, taking place from April 29 to May 2 at Moll Vell in Palma.

In this context, the Balearic Marine Cluster plays a key role as a driver of the sector, coordinating the participation of more than 115 associated companies present at the event, many of them represented at the cluster’s stand, which is consolidating itself as a strategic meeting point for professionals, companies and international stakeholders.

In this context, the Balearic Marine Cluster stand welcomed an institutional visit from Alfonso Gómez, Director General of Industry and Industrial Estates, and Alejandro Sáenz de San Pedro, Minister for Business, Employment and Energy, who were able to learn first-hand about the Cluster’s activity and the potential of the Balearic nautical business network.

The collective presence of the business network under the BMC umbrella reinforces the joint visibility of the Balearic nautical ecosystem, highlighting its specialization in refit services, maintenance, engineering, innovation and auxiliary services for large yachts.

As a prelude to the Palma International Boat Show, the Mediterranean Superyacht Forum 2026 took place on April 28 and 29, organized by the Balearic Marine Cluster. This forum has established itself as a space for strategic reflection and international connection, bringing together industry leaders, captains, project managers and key companies in the superyacht sector.

The Mediterranean Superyacht Forum acts as a catalyst for the event, generating content, qualified networking and debate around the main challenges and opportunities of the sector, and contributing to positioning the Balearic Islands as a hub of knowledge and innovation within the global nautical industry.

Beyond its role as organizer and facilitator of initiatives, the Balearic Marine Cluster continues to drive the sector’s competitiveness by fostering collaboration between companies, promoting innovation and strengthening the international projection of the Balearic Islands as a leading nautical destination.

The combination of a strong business base, strategic events with international reach, and an active and cohesive cluster structure consolidates the Balearic Islands as one of the most relevant hubs in the Mediterranean for the nautical industry.
