The initiative, promoted by Balearic Marine Cluster within the framework of World Boating Day, brought together public activities throughout the week to promote nautical culture, the sea and the opportunities offered by the sector to all audiences.
The Balearic Boating Day has concluded its first edition, establishing itself as a new initiative aimed at bringing boating and the sea closer to Balearic society through open, accessible experiences designed for all audiences across different parts of the archipelago.
The programme included activities such as zero-emission boat trips, traditional llaüt crossings, the Alcudiamar Trophy, guided visits to leading facilities such as STP and Astilleros de Mallorca, open days at training centres and sector companies, sea-related art exhibitions, networking events such as the Women in Boating vermouth gathering, as well as sailing, paddle surf, diving and jet ski experiences and various boat outings, allowing many people to discover the nautical world from the inside for the very first time.
The project culminated this Saturday with the Balearic Boating Festival held in Port Adriano, a major final event open to the public that brought together nautical experiences, family activities, training, gastronomy and maritime outreach.

The programme also served to showcase the training and professional opportunities offered by the Balearic nautical industry, one of the main strategic sectors of the Balearic Islands due to its economic impact, business ecosystem, innovation and international projection.
Balearic Marine Cluster highly valued the reception of this first edition, especially highlighting the collective involvement of the Balearic nautical sector and the strong response from participants.
Balearic Boating Day was created with the goal of becoming an annual event that continues to bring the sea closer to society, promote nautical culture and strengthen the connection between the Balearic community and one of the archipelago’s most strategic sectors.
