DESCRIPTION AND GENERAL INFORMATION
Recipients: Industrial companies with the headings of the tax on economic activities (IAE) included in divisions 2, 3, 4, and 691.2 of section 1 corresponding to business activities and that are registered in the division “a” corresponding to industrial establishments and activities of the integrated industrial registry. Companies included in group 504 of the IAE of section 1 corresponding to business activities are also beneficiaries. Balearic island’s industrial development centers in the industrial sector that are physically established in the Balearic islands may also be beneficiaries of the aid.

Eligible activities: Investment actions for the implementation of new production centres, as well as for the expansion, improvement or modernisation of existing ones, will be eligible for subsidies. specifically:
- For programme I (design and innovation): costs of contracting industrial design and innovation projects to external entities, and acquisition of prototypes to be used in the applicant entity’s work centres located in the Balearic Islands.
- For program II (production): acquisition and installation of machinery to be installed in a work center of the applicant entity, acquisition and installation of machinery, accessories, technical installations, welding equipment, acquisition and installation of sets of molds, prototypes and patterns for the manufacture of products, acquisition and installation of tanks, barrels, drums, filtering systems and the like, acquisition and installation of vessels, mixing reactors, tanks and the like, and costs of training aimed at learning how to handle the requested investments included in the above-mentioned above.
- Programme III (digitalisation): acquisition and installation of tangible assets for the automation and/or digitalisation of storage that allow an improvement in product logistics, acquisition (both tangible and intangible) aimed at the digitalisation of the production system, acquisition and installation of technologies linked to industry 4.0, contracting costs to external entities for the design of web pages and environments, and costs of training aimed at learning how to handle the requested investments covered by the above-mentioned

Aid intensity: €3,880,000. Maximum eligible amount per programme: design and innovation (maximum of €10,000 per beneficiary), production (maximum of €20,000 per beneficiary), and digitalisation (maximum of €20,000 per beneficiary)
