Eleven companies took part in the event organized by Balearic Marine Cluster and SOIB in Palma
The Nautical Job Day 2025, organized by Balearic Marine Cluster and the Servei d’Ocupació de les Illes Balears (SOIB), was held today at CIFP L’Embat (Palma) with very positive results, bringing together companies and professionals interested in joining the nautical industry.
The day began with a brief presentation of the 2025/2026 training programs, introducing the latest educational opportunities. This was followed by a series of personal interviews between companies and candidates.
A total of eleven companies — Dahlberg, Modesty, Nautipaints, Alcudiamar, Oscar Sierra, One Palma, Estela Shipping, Infe Group, Sa Calma Boats, J2 Sailing and Cerashield — took part in the event, offering fourteen job vacancies across different areas such as refit, carpentry, painting, maintenance, and technical services.
Despite the rain, candidates attended the event and held productive, direct interviews with participating companies, which praised both the quality of the profiles and the format of the initiative.
The Nautical Job Day is part of the ongoing collaboration between Balearic Marine Cluster and SOIB to promote employability and attract talent to a strategic industry for the Balearic economy. Both entities work continuously on dual training programs, career guidance, and initiatives aimed at integrating new qualified professionals into the sector.
The event once again highlighted the potential of the nautical industry as a source of stable, specialized, and sustainable employment, strengthening the connection between training and the real demand for talent in the Balearic Islands.
