The Superyacht New Build Hub positions Palma as one of the leading hubs in the Mediterranean for superyacht construction
Marina Port de Mallorca is strengthening its position as the host of the Superyacht New Build Hub within the framework of the Palma International Boat Show, consolidating itself as one of the most specialised areas of the event in the large sailing yacht construction segment.
This initiative is driven by IPM-IMG Marine Group, a company associated with the Balearic Marine Cluster, contributing to enhancing the international visibility of the Balearic nautical ecosystem at one of the industry’s leading events.
Located on dock E of the marina, the hub will feature 20 premium berths and more than twenty land-based exhibitors, creating a professional environment designed to connect shipyards, designers, brokers and yacht owners.
The space will bring together some of the leading companies in the sector, covering all phases of the shipbuilding process. Participants include international shipyards such as Vitters, Baltic Yachts and Southern Wind, as well as renowned design studios such as Tripp Design and Dykstra Naval Architects, alongside sailmaking specialists such as Doyle Sails.
A space combining new build and brokerage market
The Superyacht New Build Hub proposal goes beyond projects under development, also incorporating yachts available on the market through international brokers, offering a more comprehensive view aligned with current industry dynamics.
In the on-water exhibition area, visitors will be able to see large sailing yachts such as Imagine (Alloy Yachts), Simena (Ares Shipyard), Ravenger (Royal Huisman) and Kalantis (Southern Wind), among others.
Overall, the hub will bring together a carefully curated selection of yachts ranging from 30 to over 60 metres in length, consolidating its role as one of the leading international meeting points for this specific segment.
Boosting Palma’s international positioning
As Isabel Martínez, Commercial Director of Marina Port de Mallorca, highlights, this edition represents a step forward in the evolution of the space, strengthening its ability to generate real connections between the different stakeholders in the sector while offering a more comprehensive view of the market.
The Superyacht New Build Hub will take place from April 29 to May 2 within the Palma International Boat Show, organised by ADRBalears and BYBA.
During these days, Marina Port de Mallorca will also be present at the Palma Superyacht Village alongside the rest of the marinas and shipyards of IPM-IMG Marine Group, reinforcing the group’s visibility at the event and its positioning within the Balearic nautical ecosystem.
The group will also participate in the Mediterranean Superyacht Forum 2026, where IPM representatives will take part in various sessions of the programme, contributing to the strategic debate within the industry.
