The session will take place at Autoritat Portuària – Port Centre (Moll Vell 3-5, Palma) and will begin at 10:00 AM. It will feature a comprehensive program showcasing active and upcoming funding opportunities for 2025, with details on key areas such as industrial modernization, internationalization, and training. The event will also highlight the advisory services Balearic Marine Cluster offers its members.
The event will be opened by Mr. Toni Salom, President of Balearic Marine Cluster, who will emphasize the importance of these initiatives in enhancing the competitiveness of the Balearic nautical sector.
The session will include presentations from key representatives of the Government of the Balearic Islands, such as:
- Ms. Ingrid de la Fuente, Director General of Industry and Industrial Parks
- Mr. José Antonio Caldés, Director General of Business, Self-Employment, and Commerce
- Mr. Omar Beidas, Head of the Innovation Service of the Directorate General of Innovation
- Ms. Silvia Delgado, Managing Director of the Balearic Regional Development Agency (ADR)
They will provide an in-depth explanation of the features, requirements, and essential information needed to access these regional grants.
In the area of training and employment, Ms. Mari Luz Moreno Romero, Director of SOIB, will present available programs to promote skill development and job growth in the nautical sector.
Additionally, Mr. Pedro Suasi, Manager of Balearic Marine Cluster, will present the grant application service the cluster offers its members to facilitate access to these funding opportunities.
