The associations and representative entities of the Balearic nautical sector have held a working meeting with the aim of strengthening coordination and collaboration between organisations that share common strategic interests.
Representatives from Marinas de Baleares, AEBRE – Asociación Empresarial de Buques de Recreo, AENIB – Asociación de Empresas Náuticas de las Islas Baleares, APEAM – Asociación Patronal de Empresarios de Actividades Marítimas, ASOMAR – Asociación de Amarristas y Operadores Marítimos de la Bahía de Palma, AECIB – Asociación de Empresas de Charter de las Islas Baleares, ACNB – Associació de Clubs Nàutics de Balears, Colegio Oficial de Ingenieros Navales de Baleares, Federació Balear de Vela and Balearic Marine Cluster took part in the meeting.
The meeting served to establish a stable framework for collaboration between the different associations, based on full respect for the autonomy, competences and representativeness of each organisation. This initiative does not imply any alteration to either the structure or the individual capacity for action of each entity, but rather reflects a shared willingness to coordinate efforts in those areas where the interests of the sector coincide.
Among the agreed lines of action are:
Holding regular coordination meetings between associations.
Exchanging information on strategic priorities, projects and ongoing initiatives.
Developing a shared sector calendar to anticipate actions and optimise collective planning.
The participating entities agree that the Balearic nautical sector faces common challenges that require ongoing dialogue, strategic vision and a joint capacity for dialogue with public administrations and other relevant stakeholders.
This new phase of coordination will help strengthen the sector’s representativeness, improve the efficiency of defending its interests and contribute to an orderly, sustainable and competitive development of the nautical industry in the Balearic Islands.
The participating associations have expressed their willingness to maintain this dynamic of joint work as a tool for sector cohesion and continuous improvement, and they invite any association interested in joining this initiative to take part in this collective effort for the benefit of the nautical sector.
