The cluster strengthens its internationalization strategy by participating in one of the most prestigious yachting events in the U.S.

Balearic Marine Cluster is taking a significant step in its internationalization strategy by participating in the Palm Beach International Boat Show, which will take place from March 19 to 23 in Florida. This marks a historic milestone for the Balearic yachting sector, as it will be the first time the Balearic Islands are institutionally promoted as a whole at an event of this magnitude.

Participation in this boat show, one of the most significant in the U.S. yachting market, will allow the cluster to position the Balearic Islands as a leading destination for the superyacht sector while strengthening ties with key international stakeholders.

Pedro Suasi, Managing Director of Balearic Marine Cluster, emphasized the importance of this initiative:

“For Balearic Marine Cluster, this is a historic milestone, as it will be the first time that the Balearic Islands are promoted institutionally as a whole as a yachting destination. We acknowledge that promotional responsibilities are managed by the Consells, and at BMC, we deeply respect and collaborate with them. However, yacht owners do not perceive Mallorca without Ibiza and Formentera, nor Menorca without Mallorca. Our goal is to work alongside all the Consells to showcase the unique wonders of each island to this highly valued segment of clients.”

During the show, Balearic Marine Cluster will hold strategic meetings with industry companies, brokers, and superyacht owners. Additionally, a special event will be organized in collaboration with AETIB, Essentially Mallorca, Ibiza Luxury Destination, and the Fundació Foment del Turisme de Menorca, where the Balearic Islands will be presented as a premier Mediterranean yachting hub.

This initiative is part of the cluster’s broader strategy to enhance the international presence of the Balearic yachting sector, with the objective of attracting investment, increasing the presence of large yachts, and promoting the excellence of the local marine industry.
