The Balearic Nautical Industry Gathers to Explore Key Funding Opportunities for 2025

Balearic Marine Cluster (BMC) hosted today an informative session at the headquarters of the Autoritat Portuària de Balears, focusing on the active and upcoming subsidies for 2025, aimed at driving industrial modernization, innovation, and competitiveness within the Balearic nautical sector.
The event saw strong institutional and business participation and was inaugurated by Mr. José Javier Sanz, President of the Autoritat Portuària de Balears, who emphasized the importance of these initiatives in strengthening the industrial fabric, fostering innovation, and consolidating the Balearic Islands as a global reference in the yachting industry.

🔹 Industrial Modernization and Major Development Grants – Presented by Ms. Ingrid de la Fuente, Director General of Industry and Industrial Parks of the Government of the Balearic Islands, focusing on infrastructure development and digitalization.
🔹 Internationalization Grants – Explained by Mr. José Antonio Caldés, Director General of Business, Self-Employed, and Trade, outlining strategies for Balearic companies to expand into global markets.
🔹 Innovation Project Grants – Mr. Omar Beidas, Head of Innovation Services, presented funding opportunities for technological and sustainability projects.
🔹 Consulting Vouchers – Introduced by Ms. Silvia Delgado, Managing Director of the Regional Development Agency (ADR Balears), detailing financial support for strategic and operational business improvements.
🔹 Ports 4.0 Program – Mr. Toni Ginard, Director of the Balearic Port Authority, outlined the available funding for modernizing and digitalizing port infrastructure.
🔹 Training and Employment Grants – Ms. Mari Luz Moreno Romero, Director of SOIB, discussed workforce training and employment initiatives for the nautical sector.
🔹 Subsidy Management Service – Mr. Pedro Suasi, Managing Director of Balearic Marine Cluster, presented BMC’s new grant application service, designed to help members access and manage available funding.
