SIGNING OF MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING: YACHTING WEST MED CLUSTER

PROJECT INFORMATION:

At the Euromaritime fair, held in Marseille, Riviera Yachting Network (France), Navigo (Tuscany, Italy), and Balearic Marine Cluster (Spain) signed the “Yachting West Med Clusters” agreement.

OBJECTIVE:

The general lines of collaboration established in the agreement include:

• Professional Training: Creation of professional training courses, enriched with cross-country experiences between the three countries.
• Collective Promotion: Joint promotion of the Western Mediterranean as an emblematic yachting destination at international events.
• Participation in European Projects: Joint participation in European and innovative projects, and harmonization of regulatory options at the European level.
• Welcome Guide and Database: Creation of a crew welcome guide and a shared database among the three clusters.
• Business Collaboration: Facilitation of connections between companies from the three countries to encourage collaboration.

PARTICIPANTS:

The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding was attended by prominent representatives of the three clusters:

• Laurent Falaize: President of Riviera Yachting Network.
• Katia Balducci: President of Navigo (Tuscany, Italy).
• Pedro Suasi: Representing Toni Salom, president of Balearic Marine Cluster.
