Balearic Marine Cluster Organizes a Trade Mission to Strengthen the Balearic Nautical Sector in International Markets
The cluster has organized this Trade Mission to boost the Balearic nautical sector in other markets with the aim of supporting the internationalization process of its associated companies.
Balearic Marine Cluster (BMC) is organizing its first Trade Mission to the Dubai International Boat Show (DIBS) 2025, with the goal of strengthening the presence of the Balearic marine industry in strategic international markets. This initiative seeks to promote the internationalization of its associated companies and foster new business opportunities in one of the world’s leading hubs for the yachting sector.
From February 19 to 23, Dubai will bring together the top companies and professionals in the industry at a key event for networking and international expansion. Despite not having its own stand, Balearic Marine Cluster has scheduled an intense agenda of meetings with key industry companies, marinas, and potential clients in the region.
This trade mission includes the participation of leading companies in the sector, such as Balearic Fastener, Hamilton Marine, Phoenix One, Soft Interior, Heavy Seas, Nautipaints, and Lantimar, all with the objective of strengthening their presence in the Middle Eastern market. This initiative will allow these companies to connect with major industry players in Dubai, gain insights into market trends, and explore potential strategic alliances, positioning the Balearic yachting sector on the international stage.
Internationalization of the Balearic Nautical Sector
Participation in the Dubai International Boat Show aligns with BMC’s strategy to drive the global growth of cluster companies, facilitating their access to new markets and enhancing their international competitiveness.
“This Trade Mission is a key step in positioning Balearic companies in a market with great growth potential. Dubai is a strategic hub for the superyacht industry, and being present at this event allows us to create synergies, attract new clients, and strengthen business relationships,” highlights Pedro Suasi, General Manager of Balearic Marine Cluster.
Opportunities in a Growing Market
Dubai has established itself as a global hub for the yachting industry, with a growing demand for specialized superyacht services, cutting-edge infrastructure, and a high-net-worth international community. The boat show provides an ideal environment for cluster companies to establish strategic contacts and explore commercial partnerships in the region.
In addition to visiting the Dubai International Boat Show, the trade mission organized by BMC will include meetings with potential clients, networking sessions with industry representatives, and visits to key infrastructures essential for the development of the marine market in the Middle East. Furthermore, on February 21, a matchmaking event is scheduled between BMC companies and Marine Leisure Association members.
Commitment to Industry Growth
With this initiative, Balearic Marine Cluster reaffirms its commitment to expanding and consolidating the Balearic nautical industry on an international scale. The presence of these companies in Dubai reflects the cluster’s ability to generate business opportunities, promote innovation, and strengthen the sector’s competitiveness in strategic markets.
