Balearic Marine Cluster and SOIB announce the Nautical Job Day, an event connecting companies with professionals interested in joining the industry

Balearic Marine Cluster and the Servei d’Ocupació de les Illes Balears (SOIB) announce the Nautical Job Day, which will take place on 6 November at CIFP L’Embat. The initiative aims to promote employment, highlight career opportunities in the nautical industry, and strengthen public–private collaboration between both entities.

The event brings together more than 10 companies from the sector, offering around 20 job vacancies across different areas such as refit and repair workshops, technical services, and yacht maintenance.

In total, 13 professional profiles have been identified to meet the recruitment needs of participating companies, including six specialising in yacht and superyacht refit and repair.

Throughout the day, attendees will have the chance to learn about current job openings, submit their CVs, and take part in direct interviews with company representatives. The event is designed to facilitate a closer and more efficient connection between talent and the real employment needs of the nautical industry.

This initiative reflects the shared commitment of Balearic Marine Cluster and SOIB to enhance training and employment in the nautical sector, one of the strategic pillars of the Balearic Islands’ economy. Both organisations work continuously on dual training programmes, career guidance, and initiatives that support the integration of new professionals into a growing and dynamic industry.

The Nautical Job Day also seeks to raise awareness of the sector’s potential as a source of qualified and stable employment, especially among young people and professionals seeking future opportunities in a technological, international, and sustainable field.

Registration is open through the SOIB website. See more here.
