VISIT CIFP L’EMBAT & WORKSHOP LITHIUM BATTERIES

On 30 May, a workshop was organised by the Balearic Marine Cluster in collaboration with the Centre de Formació L’Embat and Akupalma. The main purpose was to present the centre’s new facilities and hold a workshop focused on lithium batteries.
OBJECTIVES:
The main objective of the workshop was to present the centre’s new facilities and provide relevant information on lithium batteries. This included providing participants with a basic understanding of this emerging technology and its applications in the marine context.
PARTICIPANTS:
The day was attended by approximately 40 attendees. Among them were representatives from the Balearic Marine Cluster, the Centre de Formació L’Embat and Akupalma. Toni Amengual, Head of Studies at L’Embat, led the participants on a tour of the centre. Pedro Barceló, from Akupalma, was in charge of leading a dynamic workshop where fundamental notions about lithium batteries were explored.
