DESCRIPTION AND GENERAL INFORMATION 


Recipients: The following entities may obtain the status of beneficiaries, provided that they are legally and validly constituted, and have an establishment or branch in spain: legal persons under private law with their own legal personality, social economy entities defined by the social economy law itself, or groups of the above, provided that they are owned by, at least one SME, start-up or social economy entity.

Eligible activities: Actions that belong to the following categories of action and that contribute substantially to the transition to a circular economy will be eligible: reduction of the consumption of virgin raw materials (through at least one of the following options: use of by-products, materials from waste, remanufacturing of products, or increasing the efficiency of the use of materials),  research, development and innovation to improve the eco-design of products in order to extend their useful life (through at least one of these options: substitution of hazardous substances, improvement in recyclability, changes to reusable products, increase in the useful life of products or increase in the repairability of products), improvement of waste management,  and digital transformation of processes through infrastructures and systems (that allow product traceability, new business models based on digitalization, return services for used products, or services based on 3d printing technology).

Eligible period: From the date of the application for the aid until the end of the justification period (only those corresponding to the preparation of the supporting documentation will be eligible, up to a maximum of €25,000)

Aid intensity: This call is endowed with an amount of 26,864,000 euros. The aid granted within the framework of this call will take the form of a subsidy and will have a maximum total amount of 10,000,000 euros per project and a minimum amount of 100,000 euros per project. Aid intensity is understood as the part of the eligible costs covered by the amount of the aid, determining different intensities according to the type of project and size of the company, as indicated below: research and development projects, up to 50% of the eligible costs; projects related to digital transformation, up to 50% of the eligible costs; digitalisation projects to innovate in terms of processes and organisation, up to 50% of the eligible costs; projects for the protection of the environment, up to 60% of the eligible costs; and for projects that reuse materials, recycle and recover waste generated, up to 55% of the eligible costs.
