The event held at Stand AL42 of Balearic Yacht Destination, the destination brand of BMC, attracted a large crowd eager to learn more about the Balearic Islands as a key player in the yachting industry.

More than 400 attendees joined the special event organized by Balearic Marine Cluster (BMC) at the Balearic Yacht Destination Stand (Stand AL42) on Thursday. The event aimed to promote the Balearic Islands as a leading destination in the Mediterranean yachting industry.

BMC President, Toni Salom, highlighted after the event, “The Balearic Islands represent quality in all aspects of the yachting sector. We have a highly competent industry that offers exquisite services. This is the message we conveyed to all attendees. We hope they leave with a positive impression and now view the Balearic Islands as a Mediterranean yachting reference.”

Pedro Suasi added that the event “showcased the full potential of our islands.” “We have a strong and robust industry that can offer the best quality to both existing clients and those we expect to attract. For the rest of 2024 and early 2025, we will continue promoting the Balearic Islands as a nautical reference in the Mediterranean, whether in Düsseldorf, Amsterdam, or at the next edition of The Balearic Superyacht Forum.”

During the event, attendees enjoyed a variety of Balearic products, including Mahón cheese, sobrasada, and Mallorcan wine. In a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, Toni Salom also announced the dates for the second edition of The Balearic Superyacht Forum, which will take place on April 29-30, 2025.

Balearic Marine Cluster participated in this year’s Monaco Yacht Show, representing 22 associated companies. The goal was to promote the Balearic Islands as a nautical destination, strengthen the image of Balearic Yacht Destination, present a unified picture of the Balearic Islands’ yachting sector, and attract new clients and markets.
