The specialities of Surfaces and Systems and Nautical Painting have already started their activity, while the training programme in Rigging and Sails will begin on the 15th October.
The Balearic nautical sector continues to strengthen the training of new talent with the launch of a new edition of the Dual Training programmes in the specialities of Surfaces and Systems and Nautical Painting.
The Surfaces and Systems speciality began on the 3rd June, while the Nautical Painting training programme started its activity last Friday, 19th of June. Both training actions are being carried out in collaboration with the S’Algar training centre, Balearic Marine Cluster, SOIB and SEPE.
The programmes allow participants to combine specialised training and real work experience through 12-month contracts in companies within the Balearic nautical sector, facilitating the acquisition of technical skills directly linked to the current needs of the industry.
These actions respond to the growing demand for qualified profiles from nautical companies in the Balearic Islands and contribute to addressing one of the sector’s main challenges: the incorporation of new talent and generational renewal. In this regard, Dual Training is consolidating itself as an effective pathway to connect the training of new professional profiles with the real needs of companies, strengthening the competitiveness and future growth of the nautical industry in the archipelago.
Participants will develop their learning in real work environments, collaborating with specialised companies in the Balearic nautical industry and gaining practical experience from day one, which significantly increases their professional development opportunities.
A new edition of the Dual Training programme in Rigging and Sails is scheduled to begin on 15 October, a speciality focused on the manufacture, installation, maintenance and repair of rigging and sail systems for vessels.
Those interested in this training or in future calls can consult the full training offer available and register through the Balearic Marine Cluster website.
