Job Description
Nautic Center Menorca is looking to hire an Assistant Marine Workshop Manager – Operations for its facilities in Menorca.
The successful candidate will support the coordination of vessel maintenance and repair operations, as well as the technical management of the workshop. The role focuses on ensuring high-quality standards, improving operational efficiency and meeting project deadlines.

Responsibilities
- Plan, assign and supervise daily technical and mechanical workshop activities, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Support fault diagnosis, technical testing and assessment of vessels and marine components.
- Assist in preparing technical reports and repair quotations.
- Implement continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean, Kanban and 5S to optimise workshop productivity.
- Manage warehouse operations, inventory and marine spare parts, ensuring availability, organisation and traceability.
- Coordinate marine mechanical, electrical and electronic maintenance and repair activities.
- Ensure compliance with relevant workshop safety and recreational marine regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Naval Engineering, Marine Engineering, Vessel Maintenance or an equivalent technical qualification. Equivalent professional experience will also be considered.
- Previous experience managing marine workshops or recreational yacht shipyards.
- Technical knowledge of marine mechanics, electrical and electronic systems.
- Experience with operational management tools including Kanban, Lean Manufacturing, inventory control and task scheduling.
- Ability to diagnose technical issues and assess the general condition of vessels.
- Languages: Spanish and English. French is an advantage.
