The Alcudiamar marina has been awarded the prize for the most sustainable and smart marina, presented during the Monaco Smart & Sustainable Marina Rendezvous 2024.
Balearic Marine Cluster congratulates its member company, Alcudiamar, for winning the award for the most sustainable and smart marina at the International Smart & Sustainable Marina Awards 2024, in their first participation in this event.
The Monaco Yacht Club hosted the Monaco Smart & Sustainable Marina Rendezvous 2024, an international networking and debate event held on September 22 and 23, bringing together key players from the global superyacht industry. Architects, startups, marinas, captains’ associations, and technology and sustainable solutions companies gathered to share experiences and knowledge in Monaco, proclaimed as the “Capital of Advanced Yachting.”
During the Smart & Sustainable Marina Awards 2024 ceremony, Alcudiamar was honored in the category of the most sustainable and smart marina. The jury for this award included Bernard D’Alessandri (Secretary General of the Monaco Yacht Club and President of the Yachting Cluster Monaco), José Marco Casellini (CEO of Monaco Marina Management), Irina Maria Peterson (Founder of Ocean Amazon), Fabiana Maccarini (Senior Consultant & PhD in Geotechnical Engineering), Patrick Troin (Superyacht Captain), Oscar Siches (Member of Global Marine Business Advisers), Luis Balbin (Superyacht Captain), and Adolfo Oria (Superyacht Captain).
