Balearic Marine Cluster and SOIB held a new edition of Job Day Náutico 2026 on 5 November at CIFP L’Embat in Palma, an event that once again highlighted the strong interest in developing a professional career within the Balearic marine industry.

This year’s edition brought together 75 participants and 11 companies from the sector, generating nearly 150 interviews throughout the morning.

The aim of the event was to facilitate direct contact between professionals interested in joining the sector and companies with real recruitment needs, creating an efficient space where candidates could learn first-hand about available opportunities and meet directly with recruitment representatives.

11 participating companies

This year’s edition featured:

Baltic Yachts, Dahlberg, Frizonia Yachts, J2 Sailing, Lantimar, Modesty Yacht Carpentry, Nautichandler, Nautipaints Group, Revival, Soft Interior and Yacht Service Spain.

The participating companies represent different areas of activity within the marine industry, ranging from refit and maintenance to carpentry, painting, refrigeration, interiors, technical services, yacht services and marine supplies.

This diversity made it possible to offer opportunities for a wide range of professional profiles and once again showcase the variety of career paths available within the sector.

Nearly 150 interviews in one morning

The day began with participant registration and a brief introduction to the event format by SOIB and Balearic Marine Cluster.

This was followed by interviews between candidates and companies, organised according to the different professional profiles and recruitment needs.

In total, nearly 150 interviews were held, allowing many participants to meet with several companies during the same morning.

This format helps streamline the connection between labour supply and demand, giving companies access to new professional profiles while offering candidates a direct opportunity to introduce themselves.

Talent for a growing sector

Attracting and retaining talent remains one of the key challenges facing the Balearic marine industry.

Initiatives such as Job Day Náutico form part of the work carried out by Balearic Marine Cluster to bring the sector closer to new professionals, raise awareness of its career opportunities and help respond to the staffing needs of companies.

The strong participation in this year’s edition highlights both the interest generated by the sector and the importance of continuing to promote meeting points between companies, professionals and employment organisations.

Balearic Marine Cluster would like to thank SOIB for its collaboration in organising and coordinating the event, as well as the participating companies and everyone who came to CIFP L’Embat to discover new professional opportunities.

We will continue working to strengthen the connection between training, employment and business, and to further position the marine industry as a sector offering strong professional opportunities and a promising future in the Balearic Islands.
