Nautical sector companies selected personnel for various professional profiles during a Job Day held this Tuesday, October 8th, at CIFP L’Embat.

The companies associated with Balearic Marine Cluster, which participated in the Job Day organized together with the Servei d’Ocupació de les Illes Balears (SOIB), conducted a total of 61 interviews on Tuesday, October 8th.

Starting at 9:00 a.m. at CIFP L’Embat, candidates were interviewed by the BMC-associated companies, which offered around thirty job openings for different profiles. Both the nautical sector companies and the candidates, including young professionals who registered through SOIB, benefited from this event.

Pedro Suasi, manager of Balearic Marine Cluster, celebrated the success of this initiative:
“We are pleased with the great reception this event has had. Every year, we see more people interested in working in the nautical sector, which shows that more and more people recognize it as a growing industry in the Balearic Islands, offering stable and high-quality jobs. At Balearic Marine Cluster, we will continue working to ensure the sector keeps growing and strengthening with the arrival of more and better workers. We are very satisfied with this year’s turnout.”

In its mission to promote employment within the nautical sector, Balearic Marine Cluster organized this event to present and highlight the career opportunities available in the industry, seek out professional profiles for the nautical sector, and foster collaboration with SOIB.
