Balearic Marine Cluster (BMC) is seeking a General Manager to lead a new stage of strategic growth, institutional development and organizational consolidation.

Role Mission

The General Manager will be responsible for the executive and operational leadership of the organization, ensuring the implementation of the strategic plan approved by the Board of Directors and strengthening BMC’s position as a leading marine industry cluster.

Main Responsibilities

• Lead the overall management of the organization.
• Execute the strategic plan and annual objectives.
• Coordinate all operational areas of the cluster.
• Represent BMC before members, public institutions and stakeholders.
• Supervise administration, finance, HR and grant management.
• Coordinate industry projects, training programs and innovation initiatives.
• Lead communication and institutional positioning activities.
• Develop strategic national and international partnerships.
• Provide regular reporting to the Board of Directors.

Requirements

• Previous experience within the marine industry.
• Strong background in leadership and organizational management.
• Experience managing stakeholders and institutional relationships.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary projects and teams.
• Languages: Spanish, Catalan and English.
• Experience in grants, business clusters, innovation or business development is highly valued.
