The prestigious Monaco event kicked off this Wednesday with the presence of the Balearic Islands at Stand AL42 under the Balearic Yacht Destination brand.

The Balearic Islands are now represented at the 2024 edition of the Monaco Yacht Show, the premier Mediterranean yachting event that brings together the best of the nautical world. Thanks to Balearic Marine Cluster’s presence, under the Balearic Yacht Destination brand, the Balearic Islands have their own space at this event, which runs until Saturday, September 28, at Port Hercules.

Representing a total of 22 companies associated with the Cluster, BMC aims to promote the Balearic Islands as a nautical destination, strengthen the image of Balearic Yacht Destination, present a united image of the Balearic Islands’ nautical sector, and attract new clients and markets.

Additionally, both BMC president, Toni Salom, and manager, Pedro Suasi, have set goals to establish new alliances, understand the latest international yachting trends, and strengthen both new and existing relationships and partnerships.

The program includes several meetings between BMC and potential clients, with the goal of establishing business with companies from the Balearic Islands. The aim is to showcase the Balearic Islands as a reliable, stable, and high-quality destination for yacht repair and maintenance, as well as a prime location offering high-quality services provided by established companies on the islands.

Furthermore, the program features a special event at the Balearic Yacht Destination Stand (AL42). Tomorrow, Thursday, September 26, at 5:00 PM, attendees will be treated to a tasting of Mallorcan products in a relaxed setting. This event aims not only to introduce the islands’ gastronomy to participants but also to showcase the potential of the Balearic Islands’ nautical sector companies.

For Toni Salom, the start of this event “represents a great opportunity for the Balearic Islands. Considering that the nautical sector is increasingly important to the Balearic economy, we want to attract new clients who depend on our expertise.”

Pedro Suasi emphasized, “It is vital that the Balearic Islands become a key reference in the Mediterranean for the entire nautical sector. We’re talking about offering services like yacht repair to high-potential clients. If we succeed in attracting them to our islands, it will ultimately mean more work for our citizens.”
