The meeting brought together more than 20 Balearic companies participating alongside the cluster, as well as other associated firms that also exhibit with their own stand. During the visit, the Minister spoke with the companies present, showing interest in their lines of work and in the projects that reinforce the position of the Balearic Islands as a benchmark in innovation, sustainability and technical nautical services.

Among these, the projects of ONE Palma stood out — winner of two DAME Awards (IFS Multi Tradewind Sail and SoftStep) — and those of Searebbel, finalist with its MobilePilot, the first plug & play autopilot for recreational boats. Both companies were able to present their developments to the Minister and explain the added value they bring to the sector.

The coordinated participation led by the Balearic Marine Cluster reflects the strength and cohesion of the Balearic nautical ecosystem, consolidating its role as a cornerstone for bringing together, driving forward and projecting the excellence of companies from the Balearic Islands in the main international forums.

Balearic Marine Cluster wishes to thank the Government of the Balearic Islands for its institutional support in making the joint participation of Balearic companies at Metstrade possible, strengthening the archipelago’s presence as a relevant player in the European nautical industry.
