CIFP L’Embat in Palma hosted today a new edition of the Nautical Job Day, an event jointly organised by Balearic Marine Cluster and the Servei d’Ocupació de les Illes Balears (SOIB) with the aim of connecting talent and companies within the Balearic nautical industry.
The event gathered more than 130 registered participants. A total of 15 companies associated with Balearic Marine Cluster took part, presenting 30 job opportunities linked to different strategic areas of the sector, including boat maintenance and repair, port operations, engineering, administration, nautical retail and customer service.
The day began with an institutional welcome and an introductory presentation by SOIB and Balearic Marine Cluster, highlighting the role of the nautical industry as one of the main drivers of employment and economic growth in the Balearic Islands, as well as the growing need to incorporate specialised professional profiles.

Following this introduction, attendees participated in interviews and direct meetings with the participating companies, creating a space for connection between businesses and candidates in a dynamic and professional environment.
The companies participating in this edition were JJCovers, Lantimar, Sea Spray, Orion Yacht, Baleos, Modesty, Starnapp, Frizonia, Nautichandler, Sea Underwater, Alcudiamar, Club de Mar, Cerashield, MCS, P&G Yachting and Anodizing.
The Nautical Job Day continues to establish itself as one of the leading employability initiatives within the nautical sector in the Balearic Islands, bringing industry job opportunities closer to young professionals, students and individuals interested in developing their careers within the sector.
Balearic Marine Cluster highly values the participation and interest generated throughout the event, highlighting the importance of continuing to promote initiatives that facilitate talent acquisition and strengthen the connection between companies and professionals within the Balearic nautical industry.
