DESCRIPTION AND GENERAL INFORMATION
Recipients: Natural or legal persons, of a private nature, and civil companies or communities of property domiciled or carrying out an investment project for the improvement of production or product processes in the Balearic Islands, which meet the requirements of being micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that carry out an industrial activity under any of the headings of the tax on economic activities (IAE) included in the divisions 2, 3, 4 and 691.2 of the first section corresponding to business activities, as well as those that are included in group 162 of the IAE and registered in division a corresponding to industrial establishments and activities of the integrated industrial register. in order to benefit from this aid, the financial transactions that applicants formalise with credit institutions or other alternative sources of financing, including those financed with private funds, such as securitisation funds, will necessarily have to have a financial guarantee granted by an SGR

Eligible activities: The costs of financing productive investment actions, investments in energy efficiency and investments in digital transformation of the industrial sector for the improvement of industrial processes and those aimed at improving the sustainability, digitalisation and competitiveness of the company will be eligible for subsidies.

Aid intensity: : €500,000 is allocated to this call. on the one hand, the amount of each aid to cover interest will have to be the equivalent of three percentage points of interest during the first five years of the operation. and, on the other hand, the amount of each aid to cover the cost of the guarantee and the opening and study costs will have to cover a maximum of 100% of the cost of the guarantee for the first five years of the original operation, with the limitation of 1.25% on the amount of the guarantee.
