Balearic Marine Cluster will present on Friday, January 19th, the calls for grants and active or planned subsidies in the short and medium term for 2024, in a free event open to the public.

The session, which will take place at the Cámara de Comercio de Palma and will start at 9:30 am, will feature a comprehensive program where the active and planned calls for 2024 will be introduced. Real experiences of companies in the aid application process will be shared, and the financing opportunities provided by the Center for Technological Development and Innovation (CDTI) will be discussed.

The event will include the participation of Ms. Ingrid de la Fuente, General Director of the General Directorate of Industry and Industrial Estates, and Mr. Diego Víu Domínguez, General Director of the General Directorate of Circular Economy, Energy Transition, and Climate Change. They will be joined by Mr. Toni Viader, Partner at Auren Consultores, the company responsible for the notification service of aids and subsidies of BMC. Together, they will present the main characteristics, requirements, and necessary information to access regional aids falling under each directorate.

Within the national scope, Ms. María José Tomás, from the Department of Institutional Promotion and Territorial Cooperation of the CDTI, will discuss the financing opportunities that the Center for Technological Development and Innovation offers to companies. This will be part of a dynamic roundtable discussion with the participation of Mr. Tià Simó, CEO of V2 Boat; Mr. Jaume Teruel, Responsible for the National Area at Zabala Barcelona, moderated by Mr. Omar Beidas, Head of Innovation Service.

Leading companies in the nautical sector, such as Astilleros de Mallorca, Port Adriano, and Nautipaints, will share their experiences in applying for aids and subsidies with the attendees.

The event will be opened by Mr. Toni Salom, President of the Balearic Marine Cluster, and Mr. Antonio Carmona, Autonomous Secretary of Innovation and Digital Society.
