BMC TRAINING PROJECT STUDENT SELECTION PROCESS

On 4 and 25 September were held at the Port Center of the Port Authority of the Balearic Islands, the two days of selection of students interested in certificates of professional nautical presented by Balearic Marine Cluster to the call for Strategic Sectors of SOIB – Servei d’Ocupació De Les Illes Balears.
The first day was attended by more than 70 young people interested in the level 2 certificates in Painting and Carpentry. While during the second selection day for the Auxiliary Operations and Fibre and Composite courses, the number of attendees exceeded one hundred.
The project involves 36companies and has created 89 new jobs.
OBJECTIVES:
- To evaluate and select young people interested in participating in the certificates of professionalism in sailing.
- To facilitate the entry of new talent into the nautical sector.
- To provide training and employment opportunities for young people interested in working in the nautical sector.
